WHAT IS A PIX:E TREATMENT?

Pix:E uses two different technologies, radio frequency (RF) microneedling and Erbium resurfacing, to dramatically improve the appearance of your skin. It can commonly be used on the face, neck, chest, or abdomen to address the most common skin concerns, such as:

WHAT IS RF MICRONEEDLING?

RF microneedling is an aesthetic treatment that uses tiny, heated needles to safely create micro injuries in the skin. As the skin heals, new collagen and elastin are created, contributing to fresh skin that looks and feels brighter, tighter, and more hydrated. RF microneedling works deep in the skin, targeting imperfections at their source and delivering benefits that continue over time

WHAT IS ERBIUM RESURFACING?

Erbium is a type of laser light that can be used to safely remove the topmost layer of the skin, “cleaning off” surface damage and revealing newer, better-looking skin.

WHO CAN RECEIVE A PIX:E TREATMENT?

Almost any skin type can receive and benefit from a Pix:E treatment. Your provider will do a thorough assessment of your skin and your skin concerns and recommend the best treatment option for you. If together you decide Pix:E is right for you, your provider will individualize the treatment to your specific needs

HOW LONG WILL THE TREATMENT TAKE?

It will depend on the size and number of areas you have treated. Your provider will start by applying a topical numbing agent to the skin being treated. You will need to wait an hour for the skin to numb, ensuring a more comfortable experience. The treatment itself will take anywhere from 30 minutes to one hour depending on how many treatment areas you wish to complete

WHAT IMPROVEMENTS WILL I SEE?

Initial improvement in skin texture, tone and overall appearance will become noticeable within the first month after treatment. Collagen and elastin regeneration and associated skin tightening will become noticeable a few weeks to a month after your treatment. This improvement will continue for up to 6 months. 

HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO I NEED?

For optimal results, a series of three treatments at 4 to 6 week intervals is recommended, or as your provider suggests.
